Line of Defense

Tanks is a fast-paced game of color-matching warfare. It combines mechanics borrowed from traditional shoot ‘em ups with those of a puzzler. Shoot the waves of oncoming tanks with a shell of the appropriate color. Fail to match the colors and it’s an instant game-over for you! When the going gets tough, resort to drastic measures with one of the special purple bombs, which wreak havoc across the entire battlefield. It isn’t just the main line of tanks that are a problem, but the secondary ones, too: use your weapons to blast them away!

How to Play

Press the screen to launch a colored shell at the oncoming tanks. Match the color of your shell with the color of the tank to destroy it. Avoid shooting a shell that doesn't match the tank's color, as this will result in a game-over. Deploy the special purple bomb when overwhelmed to eliminate all tanks on the screen. Keep an eye on secondary tanks that appear; focus on them to prevent advancing. Progress through levels by overcoming all tanks before they reach your line. Master your color-matching and timing skills to survive longer and attain higher scores.
